Christopher Newport University

Established in 1989, the Carl & Denise Farris Athletic Hall of Fame honors those men and women who have made significant contributions as a member of the Captains, whether as a player, coach, administrator, or friends of the program.

With the most recent induction in 2024, 172 Captains have been enshrined in the CNU Athletics Hall of Fame. All biographies were taken from the person's induction year, when available, or from their induction plaque.

In 2024, the Carl & Denise Farris Hall of Fame was unveiled and will forever celebrate the Farris family and their many contributions to establishing a standard of excellence for Christopher Newport athletics. It honors their relentless commitment to ensuring Captains student-athletes are able to add to the tradition of our Community of Champions.
