Caitlyn Jansen pieced together one of the most decorated careers in CNU volleyball history, earning All-American honors during each of her last two seasons, including second team honors as a senior. She was twice selected a first team All-Region player, and added a pair of All-State and All-Conference honors to her trophy case prior to her graduation. She still ranks in the program's top ten in career blocks (255), and is CNU's all-time leader in hitting percentage with a .371 mark with over 950 kills.

Her junior season remains one of the finest in program history, as she was named Conference and State Player of the Year after firing 428 kills with a .363 hitting percentage. Her impact on the Captains extended beyond the stat line, as she helped lead CNU to a pair of its most successful runs through the postseason in each of her final two campaigns. First, as a junior, Jansen and the Captains won the program's first ever NCAA Regional Championship and then again, as a senior, the Captains reached the National Quarterfinals with their second straight regional title. She was named the NCAA Regional MVP following each of the Captains' appearances.
