Champions Club

Welcome to the Club

Christopher Newport has long been a home for champions. In recent years, our student-athletes have continued to build on this tradition, bringing national championships back to Newport News and further strengthening our proud legacy. Competing at this elite level is both an honor and a challenge—but as Captains, we rise to meet it. That’s why we need your support through the Champions Club, Christopher Newport’s Athletic Giving Society.

Our student-athletes represent Christopher Newport University with passion, character, and an unrelenting competitive spirit. The 2024–25 academic year has been a standout season, with eleven teams reaching NCAA championship competition and for the second year in a row, women’s sailing advanced to nationals—all an impressive reflection of the talent and drive within our programs.

We hope you will join our Community of Champions and take pride in the commitment and accomplishments of our student-athletes and coaches. Your support makes a real difference—creating experiences that shape our student- athletes now and preparing them for success well beyond their time at CNU.

We’re excited for what lies ahead and look forward to celebrating more extraordinary moments with you as our Captains continue to make history.

GO CAPTAINS!
