NEWPORT NEWS, Va. -- In advance of a rainy forecast predicted to begin in the middle of the afternoon on Saturday, the Christopher Newport men's soccer team has announced a schedule change to their game against Regent University. Kickoff against the Royals is now slated for 1:00 p.m. from Captains Field. 

The game, which will include a pre-game ceremony to honor the senior class, will kickoff from Captains Field at 1:00 p.m. It will be the second all-time matchup against Regent with Christopher Newport winning the first on September 1, 2017. 

The Royals joined the Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference starting this year and are in the process of becoming a full NCAA Division III member starting in the 2028-29 academic year. 

Located in Virginia Beach, Regent is 3-7-0 to start the year after a setback against Salisbury University in their most recent action.
