BRIDGEWATER, Va. -- Eight weeks following a five-set home loss, CNU volleyball will head to Bridgewater College for a rematch Wednesday at 6 p.m. in Nininger Hall.

When these teams played Sept. 5 in the Freeman Center, the Eagles defeated the Captains 3-2 (26-24, 25-22, 21-25, 19-25, 15-11). The overall point breakdown was CNU 107, Bridgewater 106.

CNU leads the series between these programs 14-12.

The Captains (17-7) are coming off a 3-0 win over Marymount University last Friday night in Arlington. It was their ninth win in 10 matches.

The Eagles (16-6) defeated Shenandoah 3-0 in their last outing on Oct. 22 for their fourth win in five matches, the lone defeat coming at No. 18 Virginia Wesleyan.

With six blocks against the Saints, senior Alyssa Dozier raised her career total to 457, tying her for second on the school's all-time list with Riley Garrison. Bailey Jensen is first with 486.

In her last nine matches, freshman setter Fielding Croft is averaging 41.1 assists per match, 11.9 per set.
