The Captains have posted the third best start to a season in program history, racing out to a 9-0 overall record. The team is now ranked in the top ten in both national polls, and has featured an explosive offense paired with a tough defense so far this season. CNU ranks fourth nationally in scoring margin, outscoring opponents by an average of 29.8 points per game.
Last game, sophomore
Jessica Daguilh led the way for CNU with 20 points, matching her career high effort. She helped the Captains dominate the paint against Salisbury on the road, winning the game 75-66. Junior

So far this season, Porter and Daguilh have led the Captains in scoring and rebounding, averaging about 11 points and 8 rebounds apiece. Balance continues to be key for head coach
Bill Broderick, as the Captains are getting five points per game or more from nine players.
