FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - A 7-2 loss to Methodist Saturday will put the CNU women's tennis team in the No.3 seed at the USA South tournament next Friday in Burlington, N.C.
Kim Morrisett won at No. 3 singles, 6-1, 1-6, 1-0 (10-5) and
Erin Spinks took the No. 4 singles match, 6-2, 6-4 against the Monarchs who will be the tournament's No. 1 seed.
CNU will play No. 6 Shenandoah after receiving a first round bye. The match will be Friday at 9 a.m.
The Capains are now 16-2 and 7-2 in USA South play.
CNU will conclude the regular season Sunday at noon against Sweet Briar at the CNU Courts.
