WINCHESTER, VA – Christopher Newport's volleyball squad won its 12th straight match by sweeping Shenandoah 3-0 Wednesday evening.
The Captains won by scores of 30-17, 30-24 and 30-15.
Sarah Hunkele and Ellen Koch each led CNU with eight kills. Liz Bush, Caitlyn Jansen and Sarah Brown all finished with six kills apiece.
Brittany Collins had 25 assists and seven digs while Ryann Lowery contributed 16 assists and four aces.
Christopher Newport improves to 13-5 overall and 9-0 in USA South play. The Hornets falls to 6-9 overall and 0-7 in conference action.
The Captains return to action Friday as they host Division I Hampton at 6 pm.
