2006 - Sophomore Season
- Made a great leap in her career by being named second team all-USA South in just her sophomore season...Ranked second on the team with a total of 86 blocks with a high
of seven against Gallaudet...She was also fourth in kills with 287 including 11 matches with at least ten...Her top effort was 15 vs. Shenandoah and she added 14 in the Galluadet match...Had a .243 attack percentage, tenth best in the conference...Added 40 service aces.
2005 - Freshman Season -
Stepped right in and contributed in a major way in her freshman year...Had a season-high 13 kills in CNU's NCAA match against Trinity (Tx.) and added 11 each against Greensboro
and Randolph-Macon...Ranked third on the squad in blocking with a total of 76, with a high of four each versus Randolph-Macon twice, Guilford, Bridgewater and Methodist...Had six digs in the East Texas Baptist match.
AT JAMESTOWN - Earned second team all-state, first team all-region and All-Bay Rivers District honors as a senior...Also a Virginia Gazette Fall Athlete and first team Daily Press
All-Star...Second team all-conference as a junior...Played for coach Krista Carpenedo, who was a former CNU assistant...Participated in the Virginia High School Coaches Association
East-West All-Star Game, that was played in CNU's Freeman Center,where she led the East team with ten blocks...Won the Athletic Scholarship Award...A member of the Spanish
Club, Key Club and a tutor...Played for the Richmond Volleyball Club...Won the USA National Invitational in 2003 with the Wisconsin Select Volleyball Club.
PERSONAL - Sarah Christine Brown was born May 31, 1987 in Washington, D.C...She is the daughter of Curtis and Sheryl Brown and is majoring in Business...Has a brother Eric, 10 and a sister Rebecca, 15...Likes to go rock climbing and boating and is a big Green Bay Packer fan.
