Newport News, Va. – The Christopher Newport University department of athletics has announced a tentative broadcast schedule for the month of September as the fall season gets into full swing. Select events throughout the year, including volleyball, men's soccer, field hockey and women's soccer, will be streamed live through CNUsports.com.
Beginning with this Saturday's season opener against Wesley, all football games will be broadcast live on the CNU/Pepsi Radio Network, Xtra 99.1 FM and will be simulcast live on the web through CNUsports.com. For the tenth consecutive year, Francis Tommasino will call all of the action and be joined in the booth by Tracey Cooper as the color analyst.
CNU's Olympic sport coverage will be brought to listeners by the team of CNU students Brent Furbee and Paul Mikowski.
The sporting events listed below represent a TENTATIVE schedule of CNU sporting events that will be webcast live in September on CNUSports.com at the time displayed. This schedule is subject to change at the discretion of the CNU Department of Athletics. Events to be broadcast in October will be released in the near future.
