RICHMOND, Va. -- Rounding out the 2025-26 season, Christopher Newport senior women's golfer Julia Pelletier was named a second team All-State selection by the Virginia Sports Information Directors. 

The recognition comes on the heels of Pelletier also earning Scholar All-American recognition on Monday afternoon. Capping her illustrious career, Pelletier was also an Academic All-District pick by the College Sports Communicators for her excellence on and off the course. 

On the course, Pelletier posted one of the best single-season performances in program history by shattering her previous bests in nearly every statistical category. The veteran led the team with a 78.8 scoring average, which ranks as the ninth-best effort in program history. She would go on to collect first team All-Conference honors from the Colonial Women's Golf Conference and moved up to eighth all-time at CNU with an 82.0 career scoring average. 

During the season, Pelletier competed in all ten events and finished with five top-20 efforts, three in the top-ten, and a pair of top-five finishes. She tied for third at the VSGA Women's Intercollegiate and added a fourth-place showing with a career-low 150 (76-74) at the Pfeiffer Spring Invitational.
