AMHERST, Mass. -- Amherst College has announced the game times and ticket prices for the sectional round of the 2022 NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Championship set for Friday and Saturday of this week. The top-ranked Christopher Newport women's basketball team will take on No. 13 Trinity (Texas) at 5:00 p.m. in the first game on Friday, March 10 followed by a 7:00 p.m. start between host Amherst and visiting rival Tufts University. 

Ticket prices will be $10 for adults and $7 for seniors, children, and students. Tickets will be sold and doors to the gym will open one hour prior to the first game on Friday at 4:00 p.m.

Visitors will be required to show proof of full vaccination or a negative test result from the previous 72 hours. KN-95 masks are required and must be worn at all times at the event. 

Saturday's national quarterfinal round will be played at 6:00 p.m. between the two teams that advance in Friday's sectional.
