NEWPORT NEWS, Va. -- The CNU women's soccer team hosts Salisbury University (3-3) on Wednesday night with kickoff set for 7:00 pm as the Captains look to end a three-game skid. Live stats and a live video webcast will be available of the contest at CNUsports.com. 

The Captains hold a 7-4-1 all-time advantage in the series against the Sea Gulls since 2000. Last year, CNU traveled to Salisbury and dropped a 2-1 decision on the road. 

Through seven games this season, the Captains are outscoring opponents 15-10, led by junior Emma O'Reilly with six total scores. Senior Dani Gunderson has added three goals and three assists for nine total points so far this season. 

Salisbury's defense has been strong, posting three shutouts so far this year, led by Michelle Conrad in goal. She has made 18 saves and sports a 1.00 goals against average while playing every minute for the Sea Gulls. Offensively, five different Salisbury players have combined for six goals.
