Box Score FREDERICKSBURG, VA – The Captains fell to the Eagles of the University of Mary Washington, 12-7, today in men's lacrosse action at the Battleground.

CNU started slow but gained momentum throughout the game increasing the goals scored with each period. Freshman Britt Hoover (Gainesville, VA) lead the Captains with three goals and one assist. Also scoring for the Captains were John Glaser (Cincinnati, OH) with two and Kevin Righi (Fairfax, VA) and Zach Hill (Salisbury, MD) each with one. Hoover is currently leading the team in points with 11, followed by Righi (10) and Glaser (9).

The loss drops the Captains to 2-2 on the season while Mary Washington improves to 1-3.

CNU hosts Randolph College at Captain's Field on Tuesday, March 10, at 7:30 pm.
