NEWPORT NEWS, VA - The CNU women's soccer team defeated Ferrum 1-0 Sunday afternoon to win their third game in a row and improve their record to 3-5-1.

   CNU's only goal was unassisted and scored by Sam Ciarvino in the 19th minute. 

   Ciaravino also received a red card in the 61st minute and will serve a one game suspesnsion in the next game. 

   The Captains will be back in action Wednesday as they will travel to Salisbury. That game is scheduled to begin at 4pm.
