ROCKY MOUNT, NC – Christopher Newport's volleyball team remained undefeated in USA South play with a 3-0 win at NC Wesleyan Wednesday night.

The Captains won by scores of 30-20, 30-14 and 30-24.

Allie Wolfe led the way with 19 kills on 34 attempts with no errors for a hitting percentage of .559. Ellen Koch added 14 kills on 28 attempts with just one error for a hitting percentage of .464.

Brittany Collins added 42 assists, five aces and nine digs. Christie Kirby added 19 digs and Wolfe finished with 11.

CNU finished the match with 54 kills on 127 attempts with seven errors for a hitting percentage of .370.

NC Wesleyan falls to 17-11 overall and 8-5 in the USA South. CNU improves to 22-6 on the year and 13-0 in conference action.

Christopher Newport returns to action this weekend when they head to Ferrum, VA for a USA South Tri-Match. The Captains will play Peace at 1 pm and Meredith at 3 pm.
