"I am extremely excited about our schedule for the 2024 season, and the incredible quality of opponents we will be competing against this coming season," Crowley said. "Our student-athletes will be challenged by some of the top teams in the country in our non-conference games. And, as always, the New Jersey Athletic Conference slate will be a battle against extremely talented and physical programs each and every week. It's going to be a tremendous test for our program."
Crowley and the Captains recorded a 7-4 record last season, and captured the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Championship for the first time ever. The Captains concluded the season with a return to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2014, falling at Randolph-Macon College, 28-20, in the opening round of the 32-team tourney.
The 2024 campaign will be the ninth for the Captains as a member of the NJAC, and Christopher Newport's six-game conference schedule will begin on Saturday, October 5

st. CNU beat the Bullets last year at TowneBank Stadium.
The Captains will host games on back-to-back Saturdays in October, entertaining Dickinson University (Pa.) on October 12
th at 1:00 p.m., and then, during Homecoming Weekend on October 19
th, CNU will take on NJAC rival Rowan University, also in a 1:00 p.m. kickoff.
The November home schedule will have the Captains hosting William Paterson University on November 2
nd, and two weeks later the regular season will come to a close with a home tilt vs. the College of New Jersey on November 16
th. Both NJAC games will begin at 1:00 p.m. at TowneBank Stadium.
In addition to the Trine, Gettysburg, and Salisbury games, Christopher Newport's road schedule will also include two trips to New Jersey for NJAC battles at Kean University (October 26
th at 12:00 p.m.) and Montclair State University (November 9
