NEWPORT NEWS, Va. -- The Christopher Newport University athletic ticket office has announced that all seats have been sold for the next home football game, scheduled against Salisbury on September 30, 2023. Standing Room Only tickets will be sold on the day of the game at TowneBank Stadium. 

Standing Room Only tickets will be $5 and ticket sales will start two hours before kick-off (Noon). Questions should be directed to the ticket office at 757-594-7880 or via email at sportix.com. 

There will be a limited amount of tailgate passes that will be available to purchase starting on Monday, September 25 starting at 9:00 am. To purchase your tailgating pass, visit the CNU Athletic Ticket Office Window located in the Freeman Center, or by calling the ticket office at 757-594-7880. 

The Captains return to TowneBank Stadium after starting the year 2-0 at home with wins against Southern Virginia (45-0) and Gettysburg (49-17). CNU football is off to a 2-1 start with this season and will be facing Salisbury in the first New Jersey Athletic Conference matchup of the year. It will be the 22nd time in 23 seasons the two teams have faced off in the longest standing series in CNU Football history. 

The game will kick off at 2:00 p.m. and is part of CNU's Family Weekend festivities.
