Christopher Newport enters Wednesday following a 16-6 setback against No. 4 Washington & Lee on Saturday. Against the nationally-ranked Generals,
Kendall Krause erupted for her third hat-trick of the season, while
Kelsey Winters added four points.
Zoe Dyer also stuffed the stat sheet with a goal, assist, and two draw controls.
Overall this season, Winters leads the Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference with 33 assists, which also places her third in the NCAA. Meanwhile, Krause ranks third in the league with 18 goals and 23 points. She also slots fourth among conference competitors with 10 takeaways, and
Emma Jackson leads the league with 41 draw controls.
Randolph-Macon is coming off of a 15-14 overtime victory against Meredith on Saturday. Against the Avenging Angels, the Yellow Jackets used four straight goals to overcome a 14-11 fourth-quarter deficit on the way to the marathon victory. During the game, Annie Bartley led RMC with six goals, including the clinching blow. Meanwhile, Caraline Cypher added 10 saves on the defensive side.

Following the midweek action, the Captains will remain at home for a 1 p.m. tilt against Roanoke on Saturday.
