In the quarters, Strause and Truong suffered an 8-6 loss to Johns Hopkins' pair Hanyu Liu and George Jiang.

In singles play, Vodela earned three straight wins before falling in the B2 finals by a final score of 8-3 against Andres Fente (Swarthmore). Vodela won in the Round of 16, 8-6, against Grove City College's Benjamin Jones before capturing an 8-7 (5) win over Mary Washington's Foster Evans in the quarterfinals. He then faced Drew Campbell, also from Mary Washington, in the semifinals and pulled away for an 8-5 win to play into the finals against Fente.

In other singles matches, Strause was eliminated from the championship draw by Washington College (Md.) veteran Karl Hoegstedt. The Shoreman captured a 6-2, 6-4 win over Strause.
