Six senior members of
Keith Parr's squad will be recognized prior to the first game, at approximately 10:15 a.m. The group of seniors will be playing their final regular-season games at Captains Park, and consists of shortstop
Natalie Carmichael, catcher
Emerald Cheesbrew, outfielder
Keely Crittenden, second baseman
Maddie Hool, designated player/pitcher
Patty Maye Ohanian, and pitcher
Emily Weatherholtz.

The Captains are 22-10 overall this season and 2-2 in the C2C. The Eagles of Mary Washington enter play with a mark of 7-13 and 1-3 in league play.
Christopher Newport is ranked 14th in the country this week, and the Captains are coming off two losses last Saturday at Salisbury. UMW has also not seen action since last Saturday, when the Eagles split a twin bill at Southern Virginia.
Following Saturday's play, Christopher Newport has added two non-conference road games to the schedule next Wednesday at Bridgewater College beginning at 3:00 p.m.. The Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference tournament will be played beginning May 6th in Waukesha, Wisconsin.
