Christopher Newport Silver Storm Set to Host Mini-Storm Dance Clinic in February; Registration Now Open

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. -- The CNU Storm Dance Team will be holding its annual Mini-Storm Dance Camp on Saturday February 15th, 2020. Mini-Storm Dance Camp is open to all children in school age 5 and above.
 Registration will begin at 9:00 am at the Freeman Center on the campus of Christopher Newport University. Mini-Storm Camp consists of two and half hours of instruction from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm. Campers will enjoy learning pom motions, dance technique, performance skills and a fun dance routine all taught by current members of the CNU Storm. At the conclusion of Mini-Storm Camp, all campers are invited to attend the 2 pm CNU women's basketball game vs. Salisbury, sit with the CNU Storm, and perform their new routine at halftime!

Campers that register by Saturday, February 8th will enjoy a discounted registration price of $30, free entrance to the game for the dancer, and two complimentary tickets for their guardians.
Cost of registration after Saturday, February 8th is $40, campers will be given free entrance to the game, but we cannot guarantee complimentary tickets to the game for guardians. Additional tickets to the game may be purchased at the door prior to tip-off.

Please have your children dressed in comfortable clothes and sneakers for the camp and sneakers, black pants and white shirt for the game. Game Report time for camp participants is 1:30 pm at the Freeman Center Field House. We look forward to having your family join us as we continue this great CNU Storm tradition!
