Riley Garrison, and
Sammy Carroll were recently named to the VaSID All-State team while Carroll was tabbed the All-State Rookie of the Year.
All three were earlier named AVCA Honorable Mention All-American, AVCA First-Team All-Region, and First-Team All-Capital Athletic Conference. Additionally, Piper was named to the NCAA Tournament All-Regional team while Carroll was tabbed as the CAC Player and Rookie of the Year.
Carroll finished the year averages 9.84 assists per set and ranks 35th in Division III in assists per set and 15th in total assists. She posted a career-high 57 assists in the NCAA Regional Quarterfinals and also had 53 against NCAA Tournament participant Virginia Wesleyan. She posted 40+ assists in nine matches Carroll has additionally proven valuable on the defensive end with eight games with double-digit digs and she has 36 total blocks to her name.
Garrison slammed 2.30 kills per set and boasted a .317 hitting percentage. Additionally, she contributed 0.84 blocks per set with 22 total solo blocks. She posted a season-high of 17 kills against Virginia Wesleyan and also added 14 against NCAA Tournament teams in Marymount and Juniata. She notched a season-high of 21 digs against William Peace and posted 18 kills and 17 digs against Washington and Lee. In the NCAA Tournament, she tallied 16 and nine against Stevenson and 23 and 19 vs. Marymount.
