Box Score VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - The Christopher Newport University women's lacrosse team improved to 3-1 today with an 11-8 overtime win against Virginia Wesleyan College.

The Captains were led by Jessica Singer who scored three goals followed by Maddy Connor with two. Defender Stephanie Green totaled seven ground balls to lead the way for the Captains.

Kelly Lane collected seven draw controls and added a goal and a caused turnover. Goalkeeper Hannah Wilkerson picked up eight saves while allowing eight goals.
