NEWPORT NEWS, VA - The Christopher Newport University football squad has seven games remaining on the schedule, and all seven are USA South Athletic Conference battles.
Saturday in Fayetteville, North Carolina, CNU returns following a week off to take on the Monarchs of Methodist University. The game at Monarch Stadium will kick off at 1 pm Saturday.
CNU has won eight of ten previous meetings with MU, but both Monarch wins have come in Fayetteville where the Captains are just 3-2.
Both teams are 1-2 and both will be playing for the first time in conference action in 2011. The game will be broadcast live on the CNU/Pepsi Radio Network (Xtra 99.1 FM) as well as online at CNUsports.com.
