About York College (Pa.)
The Spartans earned their seventh straight trip to the NCAA Tournament with the team's win of the 2011 Capital Athletic Conference Championship. York is currently riding an impressive 10-game unbeaten streak (8-0-2), surging to an 11-5-5 overall record this season. The defense has posted six shutouts and allowed only five goals in those ten games. This will be the second trip to Captains Field for the Spartans this year, as York played in the season-opening Joe Pombriant/CNU Classic back in early September. Five Spartans earned All-Conference honors, led by first-teamers Antonio Bua, Aaron Beale and Cody Pearson.

About DeSales
With an at-large bid into the 2011 NCAA Tournament, DeSales is making its fifth appearance in the postseason. The 14-4-2 overall record includes a school-record 10-game winning streak earlier this season. DeSales has struggled down the stretch with a 1-2-1 mark in its last four games. Offensively, the Bulldogs are led by Jonathan Balfour and Derek Long. Balfour has a team-high 30 points on 11 goals and eight assists while Long is nearing the 100-point mark for his career. Balfour was named the Freedom Conference Player of the Year in his final campaign, while freshman Colin Sulpizio and George Crampton helped sweep the major awards by winning Rookie and Coach of the Year honors respectively.

About Randolph
The WildCats are making their first appearance in the NCAA Tournament this weekend, after winning the Old Dominion Athletic Conference last weekend. Randolph earned a 2-1 come-from-behind victory over Lynchburg to take the automatic bid into this weekend's First Round. The young team is currently riding a six-game winning streak, running the overall mark to 16-5 this season. The potent offense has been shut out only once this season, led by Corey Sindle with 13 goals and five assists for 31 total points. Four more WildCat players are in double-figure scoring so far this season.

About Christopher Newport
CNU boasts one of the most veteran groups in school history, as the senior class boasts a pair of All-American forwards and an All-Region goalkeeper. It is the only class in CNU men's soccer history to reach the NCAA Tournament all four years of their career, including a pair of runs to the NCAA Elite Eight. This season, scoring leader Brian Lybert (35 points on 11 goals, 13 assists) looks to lead the Captains on another deep run into the tournament. CNU's all-time scoring leader, Winston Mattheisen, is just two goals shy of breaking the all-time goals scored mark and senior keeper Justin Wolfe is just one shutout away from tying the career record of 30. Wolfe and the CNU defense have allowed just 10 goals in 18 games this season, for an impressive 0.54 goals against average.
