Football Looks for 5th Straight Win at Greensboro College Saturday

NEWPORT NEWS, VA- It's been another awesome October for the Captains of Christopher Newport. CNU has won four straight games since the month started, and Matt Kelchner's Captains look to close out the month with another win Saturday at Greensboro College.

CNU has always been tough in October, as the Captains have an all-time mark of 40-7 (.851) in the tenth month. The Captains are coming off a 51-33 home triumph over North Carolina Wesleyan last Saturday night at POMOCO Stadium. Not only was it the highest-scoring game in POMOCO history, it also set the mark for home attendance with 6,141 fans on hand.

Game time this Saturday is set for 1 p.m. at Jamieson Stadium in Greensboro, North Carolina. The game will be broadcast live on Xtra 99.1 FM and on Captains Sports Live at www.CNUsports.com

The Pride of Greensboro is winless at 0-7 overall and 0-4 in the USA South.
