NEWPORT NEWS, Va. -- The second-ranked CNU Captains (11-0-1, 3-0-0) will host a big conference matchup on Saturday night, as they welcome in Methodist University (8-2-2, 2-0-0) at 7pm. The Monarchs are unbeaten in league play and have been in the NSCAA Regional Rankings for the bulk of the season.

Seniors
Brian Lybert and
Winston Mattheisen continue to lead the Captains with stellar swan song seasons. Lybert leads the team with 27 points on 9 goals and 9 assists, while Mattheisen is just two points shy of tying for the all-time leader in CNU soccer history.
Methodist comes into Saturday's contest following a big win over Averett, 5-1, a team that stretched CNU to overtime earlier this season. The Monarchs have won six of their last seven games and boast a solid offense as well, averaging 2.38 goals per game.
