Box Score ROCKY MOUNT, NC – CNU women's lacrosse defeated North Carolina Wesleyan, 20-1, in USA South action today and improved to 1-2 on the season and 1-0 in conference play.

The Captains jumped out to a big lead with 14 goals in the first half of play and added six more in the second. Seven different players scored for the Captains who were lead by Kaitlin Quigley and Meghan Harkey with five goals each. Other scoring Captains were Grace Valentine with three goals, Rachel Tomlinson, Lauren King and Becca Geist with two each and Alyssa Burke with one.

Gayle Robinson and Carrie Robinson split time in the goal allowing only one goal, coming from North Carolina Wesleyan junior, Alyssa Balzano.

The Captains also led the game in shots with 28, groundballs with 28, and draw controls with 19.

The Captains travel to Greensboro College on March 13 with a game time of 1:00 pm for their second USA South contest.
