Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 HAMPTON, Va. - The 2010 softball season began Saturday with a doubleheader sweep at Division I Hampton, 7-3 and 5-2.  CNU came from behind to take the first game.

Down 3-1, the Captains scored three in the sixth as Kristin Nickloy drove in one run with a base hit and two other scored on a throwing error.

Chelsea Mitchell provided a big double in the seventh and CNU again scored on a Hampton error.

Nickloy was 2-4 with a single and a double. Kristin Rowe got the win with four good innings.

In game two, Mitchell homered in the second and sixth and Ashley Mani had a home run in the sixth as well. Elizabeth Holte was CNU's winning pitcher.

The Captains host a doubleheader with Salisbury next Saturday at 1:00.
