GREENSBORO, N.C. – The CNU volleyball team completed a perfect, 5-0, weekend with a sweep of Greensboro and Methodist Sunday afternoon at Greensboro College.

  The Captains first defeated the hosts, 25-22, 25-21, 25-21, as Kara Elder and Bailey Jensen collected eight kills each. Elder added 11 digs and Jensen five blocks. Cory Harris contributed seven kills, while Ryann Lowery added 18 assists and Jessie Heavenrich 13.

  In the final match of the weekend CNU topped Methodist, 25-15, 25-15, 25-16. Harris had nine kills this time with Elder contributing eight. Abby Hogge led with 13 digs while Lowery and Heavenrich each had 14 assists.

  The Captains are now 11-3 and 4-0 in USA South play, while Greensboro is 2-11, 1-3 and Methodist 8-3, 2-2.

  CNU returns to action next Friday in Danville, Va., taking on Averett at 2 p.m. and Ferrum at 4 p.m.
