VA BEACH, VA – Christopher Newport's softball team won two more games Saturday to finish the Beach Blast Tournament 4-0.

The Captains defeated Randolph-Macon, 16-0, in five innings. Kristen Rowe tossed a one-hitter while pitching all five innings.

CNU finished the tournament by coming from behind to defeat Wilkes, 2-1. Lindsay Kelly tossed the first four innings, allowed one run. Rowe came in relief, pitching the final three, to pick up her second win of the day.

Christopher Newport improves to 8-0. The Captains return to action Monday when they host UVA-Wise at 1 pm.
