RALEIGH, NC – Christopher Newport's volleyball team swept a pair of matches at a USA South Tri-Match Saturday afternoon.

CNU defeated Meredith 3-0 by scores of 25-16, 25-10, and 25-14.

Allie Wolfe paced the Captains with 15 kills and 14 digs. Liz Bush added 10 kills. Mary Horner finished with 16 digs while Ryann Lowery had 31 assists and Jessie Heavenrich finished with 18 assists.

In the night-cap, Christopher Newport swept Peace, winning 25-16, 25-18 and 25-13.

Wolfe once again led CNU with 11 kills and nine digs. Ellen Koch added 10 kills. Lowery finished with 26 helpers and Heavenrich added 15. Horner had a game-high 18 digs.

Christopher Newport improves to 8-3 overall and 4-0 in the USA South. The Captains return to action Wednesday when they head to NC Wesleyan for a doubleheader beginning at 5 pm.
