ELIZABETHTOWN, PA – Christopher Newport's women's soccer squad dropped a 5-0 decision to the College of New Jersey on day two of the Blue Jay Classic Sunday afternoon.

TCNJ led by just one, 1-0, at the half, and erupted for three goals in the first 12 minutes of the second half to take control of the game.

The Lions out-shot the Captains, 19-0. Erin Wojtkun had nine stops in goal.

TCNJ improves to 2-0 while Christopher Newport falls to 0-2. The Captains have a week off and return to action Friday when they host the Captains Classic. CNU takes on Baldwin-Wallace at 7 pm.
