ELIZABETHTOWN, PA – Christopher Newport's volleyball squad split of pair of matches on the road Friday.

The Captains defeated Elizabethtown in three, by scores of 25-19, 25-21, and 25-23.

Ellen Koch led CNU with 10 kills and six digs. Allie Wolfe added eight kills and 12 digs and Meghan Puckli had eight kills. Ryann Lowery finished with 18 assists and five digs and Jessie Heavenrich added 15 assists and five digs.

Christopher Newport then dropped a 3-0 decision to No. 1 ranked Juniata. CNU lost by scores of 25-20, 25-19, and 25-22.

Koch finished with 10 kills and 12 digs. Liz Bush finished with nine digs. Heavenrich finished with 19 assists and 10 digs.

The Captains are now 23-6 on the year and return to action Wednesday when they host VA Wesleyan with start time set for 6:30 pm.
