STEVENSON, MD - Christopher Newport's Michael Caro scored three times to lead his men's soccer team to a 4-0 win on the road at Villa Julie Sunday afternoon.

Caro scored the first of his three goals in the ninth minute off a pass from Brock Hughes. Jimmy Hash increased the Captains lead to 2-0 with an assisted score in the 30th minute.

In the second half, Caro scored both of CNU's goals, the first of which came in the 52nd minute with Brian Tweed assisting. Caro's third goal came on a penalty kick in the 70th minute.

Christopher Newport out-shot the Mustangs, 38-1. Tommy Vieten recorded his second shutout of the year without making a save.

The Captains even their record at 3-3 while Villa Julie falls to 2-4. CNU returns to action Saturday as they travel to the University of D.C. with start time set for 4 pm.
