Christopher Newport women's basketball player and team captain Jessica Moore is giving CNU fans an inside look at the team's trip to Hawaii through a blog this week. This is her final post and would like to thank all the fans who have followed along at CNUsports.com. If you'd like to see all the posts, check out the Blog Page here.

Day 7 - Our Last Day...

Today is our last day in Hawaii…and we don't even have a full day. Some people decided to go to Pearl Harbor early this morning and others decided that it was too early and wanted to sleep in. Some of us decided we wanted to rent some mopeds and cruise around and see the city. It was a lot of fun and a couple of us got really good deals on the rentals. We didn't have much time to do too much because our fun in the sun on the island was coming to an end. Our flight was leaving around 7pm so we had to leave around 4 to get to the airport on time.

Senior Erin Furey said, “the trip was a learning experience for us as a team and for us individually as people. I had a blast and enjoyed the male dancers at the luau! It's Shaka baby!!!”

We are all sad that we have to leave this beautiful place but are anxious to get back to our family in friends. I wanted to thank all of you who have been reading my blog from Hawaii -- it was a fun experience and I hope to see you all at the Freeman Center this season. Go Captains!
