Day 6 - Bounce Back Win...
We woke up to another rainy and gloomy day, but were determined to not let this one end like the last. After eating breakfast at around 8:30, we headed out to a local high school for a shoot-around at 9:30. After the shoot-around we came back to the hotel to grab a quick bite to eat and then leave to go to the gym for the game. There was a game before ours, so we watched them for a little bit and then started warming up and stretching.
Today's game was also a little rough, as we were down the majority of the game, but we pulled it through in the end. Senior captains
Chelsie Schweers and
Barbara Davis sparked the team with their energy and steals on defense, and freshman
Chantal Thomas also stepped up.
After the game we came back to the hotel and some people finally got their chance to go to the beach -- they had been dying to ALL week and the weather wouldn't keep them away. We ate dinner after they got back and talked about what we were going to do the rest of the night and tomorrow. Some of the girls decided to go to the Oak Hill High School game that was also being hosted here. The others decided they just wanted to do some last minute shopping and get some more yogurt! It is our last night in Hawaii, unfortunately, but we don't leave till late tomorrow so we are hoping to get some last minute activities in tomorrow too!
