Day 4 - Swap Meets, Parrots and Yogurt...
This morning we went to a flea market called the swap meet -- it took place at the Pro Bowl Stadium and usually happens about three times a week. A bunch of vendors set up their tents all over the parking lot right outside the stadium and people can walk around and shop. We got there and had about two hours to do some serious shopping. There were plenty of great deals, like 8 T-Shirts for $20, three necklaces for $30, book bags for $8 -- and a lot of other really great deals. Most of us were pretty successful in our purchases, but a couple did get ripped off. A few of us were pretty good at bargaining and working the prices down.
After we left the swap meet, we had our last practice before the big game against #10 Thomas More. After the practice we came back to the hotel and had some free time. We all decided to shopping and get some things for our loved ones at home. It was really fun to see Hawaii at night and interact with all the cool people. Some of us got to hold some parrots on our shoulders and take pictures with some cool locals. We also got to go to Yogurt Land and get some really yummy yogurt before dinner. We got back to the hotel just in time to eat dinner and get ready for the big game tomorrow.
