NEWPORT NEWS, Va.- Following the most successful season in program history, Christopher Newport University Head Football Coach Paul Crowley today announced the release of the 2026 Captains schedule.  CNU will host Newport News Apprentice School to open the 26th season of CNU football on Saturday, September 5th, at 7:00 p.m. at TowneBank Stadium.

"Our student-athletes and coaches as so excited about the 2026 season," Crowley said.
