NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - The New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) recently announced its All-Academic Team for the 2024-2025 season, and 18 members of the Christopher Newport University football team received Honorable Mention accolades.
Qualifications for inclusion on the team were a minimum 3.20 GPA, as well as at least a sophomore class standing with 24 completed class credits, and must have participated in an NJAC sport. CNU is a member of the NJAC in football only.

Christopher Newport recorded a 7-3 record last season, and won its final five games of the season, finishing second in the NJAC. CNU will open its 25th season of action on Saturday, September 6th, hosting Trine University at TowneBank Stadium in a 1:00 p.m. start.
