NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - Christopher Newport University looks to bounce back on Sunday, as the 12th-ranked Captains travel to Chambersburg, Pa., to take on the Phoenix of Wilson College. Tip off time is set for 4:00 p.m.at Gannett Memorial Field House.

John Krikorian's squad is 7-3 and ranked 12th in the country. The Captains had a six-game winning streak snapped Thursday night in a 74-68 home loss to Virginia Wesleyan. Wilson College enters play Sunday with a 5-5 mark so far this season. This will be the first meeting ever of the two schools.

CNU men's basketball is broadcast live on the Christopher Newport/Pepsi Radio Network (Xtra 99.1 FM) with the pre-game show beginning at 3:40 p.m. Sunday. Following Sunday's action, Christopher Newport has a road game on Tuesday as the Captains travel to Union, N.J., to take on Kean University in a 6:00 p.m. tip off. The game on Tuesday will end a stretch of four games in nine days for CNU, and will lead to an eight-day break for the holiday.
