NEWPORT NEWS, Va. -- Due to heavy rains expected in the Newport News area, the Christopher Newport Department of Athletics has announced game time changes for the soccer doubleheader against Mary Washington on Saturday. The top-ranked CNU women's team will now kickoff at Noon against the Eagles while the Christopher Newport men will match up with No. 2 Mary Washington at 5:00 pm. 

Live stats and, weather permitting, a live video webcast will be available at CNUsports.com for both games. 

On the women's side, Christopher Newport is 11-0-1 so far this season and will be facing the Eagles for the second time. Mary Washington is coming off a 2-0 victory against St. Mary's (Md.) that improved their overall record to 6-5-1 on the season. 

The men's match features two of the region's top programs as the Eagles enter the matchup at 10-1-1 overall with a five-game unbeaten streak. The Captains will counter with a 9-1-1 overall mark after a thrilling 2-1 finish against St. Mary's (Md.) last game.
