The Captains jumped out to an early lead with Mackenzie Wright driving home four kills and giving CNU a 10-6 lead. But the Tartans stormed back to tie the set at 17, and put the Captains away scoring eight of the final ten points.

Second Set (Carnegie Mellon 25-16)

Again, Christopher Newport raced ahead in the second set and led 4-1. But Carnegie Mellon quickly returned fire and tied the set at four. The Tartans continued to take advantage of errors and found themselves up 19-9 later in the second set.
