NEWPORT NEWS, Va. -- The Christopher Newport men's tennis team will open the season this weekend after all as the originally scheduled match against Virginia Wesleyan University has been rescheduled for Sunday, February 28 at 4:00 pm. 

Sunday's bout will be played indoors at the James River Country Club. Out of an abundance of caution due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, all home competitions will be closed to the public.
