Eric Shulman, continuing a torrid pace that has him on pace to reach the NCAA Division III singles tournament, beat
Michael Milanov 6-2, 6-3 at No. 1 in the day's closest match after teaming with
Gian Heyer to beat Milanov and
Julian Fehr 6-1, 6-1.
The Captains (11-8, 4-1) will close the regular season with a 2 p.m. home match Saturday against Methodist. A victory will give CNU the No. 2 seed in the USA South Athletic Conference tournament in Burlington, N.C.
Shenandoah fell to 2-9, 0-5.
