Box Score ASHLAND, Va. - The CNU baseball team had its three-game winning streak broken with a 12-1 loss to Randolph-Macon Tuesday.

It was the rubber game of what turned out to be a strange season series. The Yellow Jackets crushed the Captains, 20-4, in the second game of the year, only to see CNU reverse its fortunes in a 10-3 victory in the very next game.

Leading 3-1, RMC broke this game open with a six-run seventh inning and then added three more in the eighth.

Ben Lenda paced the Captains with two hits, including a fifth inning home run.

CNU hosts Greensboro in the final USA South series of the year Saturday and Sunday at Captains Park. Both games begin at 1 p.m.
