Box Score HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, Va. - The CNU baseball team dropped a 7-6 decision to Hampden-Sydney Wednesday in a non-conference contest.

The Captains held a 5-4 lead until the bottom of the sixth when the Tigers scored three times on only one hit. There were two walks and two hit batters.

Shannon Mark paced CNU with three hits and three RBIs. Parker Neal and Steven Lindemuth each had two hits.

Matt Verdillo took the loss in relief as CNU slipped to 13-7. HSC is 11-6-1.

The Captains play a USA South series at Shenandoah this weekend.
