Biography

2011 - Junior Season - A second-team USA South All-Conference selection...Started all 46 games for the Captains...Hit .308 for the year with 16 extra-base hits...Second on the team in runs scored with 46...Had 30 RBI and a team-high 387 putouts...Blasted go-ahead two-run homer in  bottom of the eighth for 5-3 win against top-ranked Shenandoah...Also hit homeruns against Greensboro and Ferrum...

2010 - SOPHOMORE SEASON – Started all 38 games played for CNU in his second season…Posted 11 extra-base hits for the Captains, and had a total of 23 runs for the season…Also had 21 RBI and three HR…Had home runs in the Randolph-Macon, NC Wesleyan and Bridgewater games…Led the team with a total of 256 putouts, splitting time between first base and catcher…Second on the team in free passes, walking 19 times… 

2009 - FRESHMAN SEASON - Took over as CNU's No. 1 catcher from the beginning of his first season and had an outstanding year...Pounded out three hits each in games against Rowan, Shenandoah and Averett and had two-hit contests six other times...
Slammed home runs versus Mary Washington, Averett and Methodist twice...In one Averett game he had two doubles and a homer and in another two more doubles.

AT LAKE BRADDOCK - Second team all-region as a senior and first team all-Patriot District that year as well...Also second team all-district as a junior for coach Jody Rutherford and team captain as well.

PERSONAL - Steven Daniel Lindemuth was born April 5, 1989 in Alexandria, Va...Son of Steve and Maribeth Lindemuth...Has one sister, Katie (23), and one brother, Ryan (19)...Majoring in Sociology.
