Box Score DURHAM, N.C. – Six different Captains score as the field hockey team tops Limestone 6-0 in their final game of the regular season. CNU improves to 15-3 on the year while Limestone drops to 5-13.

Kylie Cale (Chester, Va.) got things started for the Captains with a goal at 16:38 in the first half. Cale dribbled  into the circle and ripped a shot that put the Captains up 1-0.  Just ten minutes later the Captains struck again with a goal from Jordan Snider (Newport News, Va.) from Bri Milne (Virginia Beach, Va.) at 26:41. The Captains went up 3-0 just a minute later with a goal from Taylor Harrell (Virginia Beach, Va.) assisted by Caitlin Cahill (Virginia Beach, Va.)

The Captains continued scoring in the second half with their first coming 12 minutes in from Paige Childers (Virginia Beach, Va.) off a pass from Cale. Shelby Judkins (Hampton, Va.) was next to score for the Captains with the assist going to Dana Brookover (Yorktown, Va.).

Milne scored the last goal for the Captains as she tipped in a shot from Yandle on corner with six minutes remaining.

The NCAA Tournament will begin this week and CNU will find out if they receive a bid to the tournament on Monday morning.
